COLEMAN, John Leonard, age 80, passed away on January 9th 2011. John was born in Huntingdon, Tennessee on October 5th 1931 to the late Cecil Howard & Blondelle (Belew) Coleman. He is preceded in death by a brother, David Coleman of Millington. He was a veteran of the US Navy, during the Korean Conflict; after service, he worked at the US Army Corp of Engineers, holding various positions, and retired as a realty specialist. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Gail (Crowell) Coleman of Nashville; son, Mike (Wendy) Coleman of Huntingdon; daughter, Cherie Coleman Hackney, Nashville; Grandchildren: Ashleigh Coleman & Katie Coleman of Huntingdon, Joshua Hackney, & Coleman Hackney, of Nashville and brother, Charles Coleman of Millington TN. Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 am Friday, January 13th 2012 at Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall, with interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 12th 2012 at f Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Nashville, TN.
