Joann Jinnette Goins died on January 14, 2021 at the age of 91. She was married to her loving husband, Albert S. Goins, Jr. for 55 years until his death in 2005. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Hilary and Wynema (Jones) Jinnette; and brothers, Robert, Marvin, and Jerry Jinnette. She is survived by her daughter, Delana Oglesby (Greg); son, Dennis Goins; granddaughter, Lacey Oglesby Huddleston; great-grandchildren, Brody and Brynley Huddleston; sister, Hilda Marie Lewis; and many nieces and nephews.
Joann was a devoted Christian wife, mother, and grandmother. She and her husband were members of Vultee Church of Christ for 50 years where their family remained always in their hearts.
Due to COVID 19, the family wishes to have a private graveside service at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to Churches of Christ Disaster Relief or to Ashland City Church of Christ.
