Joan Warner, age 60 of Mount Juliet, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2016. She was born in Bronx, NY to the late Fred and Mary Warner on April, 25, 1956. She is survived by her younger siblings, Paul (Kelly) Warner, Kevin Warner, Anne (Billy) Watson, Rick (Dyane Martin) Warner; nieces & nephews, Niki (Andy) Green, Paul Watson, Brandon Warner, Colleen Warner; great-nieces & great-nephews, Jackson, Keegan, Isabella, and Kellan Green; aunt & uncle, Dr. Frank and Grace Healy of California and Bill Warner of New Jersey; special friend, Kathy (Marshall) Gilmore, and beloved cat, Silver. Joan had a smile that would light up a room, and brilliant blue eyes that would sparkle with every look. She sat with the elderly with ‘Home Instead’, as well as owned and operated several businesses including, ‘Reliable Cleaning Service’ and ‘Reliable Caregiving’. Joan had a creative spirit which led to her greatest achievement of producing Christian television programing. She was so proud of the programs that she was able to produce and host including: “Faith & Unity,” “Health – Hope,” “Truth & Wellness,” “Eternity Now,” and “Kingdom Kids.” After suffering a brief illness years before, Joan pledged herself to continuing God’s ministry and preaching his gospel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 30, at 2:00pm in the chapel of Mount Olivet Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Wetmore officiating. Interment and committal service will follow in Calvary Cemetery with Karl Archibald, Paul Warner, Kevin Warner, Rick Warner, Brandon Warner, and Billy Watson serving as active pallbearers and Steve Keogh and Jeff Stone serving as honorary pallbearers. Visitation with the family will begin on Wednesday, June 29, from 4:00-8:00pm and continue on Thursday from 1:00pm until time of service.
