Jesse R. Ragan

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse & Elizabeth Ragan, sisters, Mildred Fulghum & Juanita Berkley, nephew Tom Fulghum.

Survived by wife of 65 years, Norma Lindsley Ragan, sons, Jeff Ragan, Tim (Hillary) Ragan, and daughter, Missy (Paul) Huffman, 8 grandchildren, 2 step grand children and 4 great grandchildren, 1 niece & 1 nephew.

Buddy Ragan retired in 2002 from the position of Executive Director of Christian Productions after 46 years in broadcasting. Prior to his association with Christian Productions, he was Manager of Program Services and Director of Research and Scheduling for the Nashville Network. In his 46 years of broadcast work, Mr. Ragan has been Program Manager for WNGE-TV (now WKRN-TV) in Nashville, Operations Manager for WMCV-TV in Nashville, Program Manager for KM EC-TV in Dallas, Texas, Program Manager and Operations Manager for KTAL-TV in Shreveport, Louisiana and worked as cameraman, Producer and Director for WSIX-TV in Nashville where he began his career. He conducted business in a professional mild manner and lived life to the fullest with kindness and love to all. He was a member of the Bellevue Church of Christ and a former elder there and also spent many years serving with the Madison Church of Christ.

Private family graveside service @ Woodlawn with Dr. Frank Scott and Bruce Zupa officiating. Grandsons & granddaughters will serve as pallbearers.
