Jerry Gordon Horne

Horne, Jerry G - Mount Juliet TN, Passed away June 25th 2010. Preceded in death by his parents and survived by his wife Mary J Horne, Daughters Cheryl (Mike) Kent, Dawn (Tracey) Miles, & Son Derek (Sonia). Grandchildren Tara, Tyler, Greyson, Misty, Michael (Brenda), Elizabeth (Wesley) & Great grandchildren Destiny, Grace, Anthony, Faith, Riley, Seth. Niece, Judy Horne and extended family. Accomplishments AFL-CIO, Humanitarian Award, Community Service Award for Central Labor Council, Metro Man of the Year, Served as Vice President of CWA Local 3808. Served on VA Hospital Volunteer Board for 24yrs. Retired from Bell South and United Way. He will be forever remembered for his stubborn ways and being “The Man.” Celebration of life services will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home June 29 2010 at 2:30pm with Bro. Ronnie Pittinger officiating Visitation will be held today from 2-6pm and Monday from 6-8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to United Way of Middle Tennessee. Friends will serve as pallbearers.
