Danny always made us laugh. He had the best Halloween costumes. Good memories of growing up with my uncle Danny.

Remembering Danny from my early childhood.. I’ll never forget how he always tried to “sneak” and give me coins and hard candies before I left grandmas house each Sunday dinner haha. It was always the little things he did that will forever be a memory in my mind. As he grew older, that thoughtful soul never changed. Recently, I saw him while visiting grandma and grandaddy. This was about a month or so before his passing. Something I wanted to share was our last talk. It was about God and healing. I remember looking over to him sitting across from grandad’s desk, his hands folded across his lap, and he was smiling at me and I asked, “How are you Danny!?” He said, “Im feeling better Christina only my legs hurt.” 
Still smiling at each other, we began to talk about prayer. We talked about how Jesus can set you free from hurt. We talked about how prayer is so powerful when you believe it in your heart. The last words I said to him were, “I will pray with you Danny, for your aches to leave and for Jesus to heal you.” I gave him a big hug, like the ones he always gave to me as a child, and told him I loved him. At that moment, I didn’t realize it would be the last thing I would get to say to him, and the last time I would get to hug him tight. I am so thankful that, that was what we talked about. I’m saddened, but we need to remember, he isn’t that far away.. I’m happy for him because I know that his prayers were answered. He is set free from his pains of this world. He is in a new body now with no pain. He is now in the most peaceful, beautiful, loving  place that exists for all eternity. He is now where sadness is gone, sickness is gone, and comfort and love wraps around you like a cozy blanket. I know one day we will meet again. I will always remember you Danny, and I know that you are back to your real home sitting with God and Jesus, just remember to save me some hard candies and coins for when we meet again, I love you so much.

It breaks my heart that he was taken so unexpectedly… He never failed to speak to me when I entered his house. I cannot imagine what joy he felt  when he touched the hand of God and God said “welcome home”. He was always kind to me..You never realize how someone touches your life until they’re gone… I will miss him. 

I loved Danny, such a sweet caring man. We were really close years ago, lost touch as life went on. I’m saddened to hear of his passing. Sending prayers and condolences to his family and friends 🙏🙏🙏  Fly high with the Angels my friend 💙.                                  Kathy King Patterson

Don't know where to begin.  I have known Danny  for ever.  We went to school  from 3rd grade until we graduated.  Back in the day there were a lot of girls that wanted to be his girlfriend. Danny was kind and caring he would take me to school when we were seniors.  The journey for the family will be hard but the memories will remain 
God speed 

I will never forget how kind my uncle Danny was. He taught me how to ride my bike and tie my shoes! He was always smiling anytime I went to Grandma and Grandaddy’s house!
