Ina Jean Hoffman (Odil) of Nashville, TN, age 94, was born on June 10, 1921 and passed away on December 22, 2015. Preceded in death by husband, Ira l. Hoffman, Sr., on May 13, 1998 after 56 years of marriage; son, Ira L. Hoffman, Jr., on May 12, 2012; parents, Guy A. Odil, Sr. and Ciciley Lyle Odil; brother, Guy A. Odil, Jr.; and five sisters, Gladys Bracy, Ciciley Selley, Sarah McNamee, Margorie Garrett, and Rosalie Puckett. Survived by her daughter, Ciciley Hoffman Lester; son, Randy Hoffman (Glenda); daughter-in-law Nancy P. Hoffman; grandchildren, Baker Hoffman (Amanda), Ciciley Bailee Hoffman Holland (Bobby), Summer Jene Hoffman Curry (Richard), Michael G. Lester, Jr. (Becky) and Sean Lester (Stacey); several nieces and nephews; and beloved pet Alli Bea Lester. Mrs. Hoffman worked for the Federal Reserve Bank, Nashville, TN, the Corp of Engineers, Virginia Beach, VA, and with her husband in his business, Ira L. Hoffman Construction Company and Tennessee Sandpaper Company. She retired in 1986 as Tax Collector for the City of Berry Hill. She was a member of the Elks Ladies and Veterans Ladies Auxiliary and is a member of Glen Leven Presbyterian Church. Most of her retirement years were spent helping relatives, friends, and others with transportation and other needed assistance. Family and friends will gather at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on Thursday, December 24, 2015 for a graveside service at eleven o’clock in the morning, with visitation an hour prior.
