Jane A. Carroll

CARROLL, Jane A., age 73, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2012. She was born in Paris, TN to the late Willie J. Rufus and Macy Pearl Ownby Abernathy and was the youngest of 7 children. Jane was a faithful Christian and lived in the Donelson community for 48 years. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Paul G Carroll. She found great joy spending time with her children and grandchildren and was a wonderful sister, aunt, friend and neighbor. Survived by her 4 children, Tony (Vicki) Alexander, Gray (Tracey) Carroll, Sonya (Mike) Jett and Duane (Jennifer) Carroll; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Marge Davidson and Elizabeth (H.C.) Lawrence. She will be truly missed by everyone that knew her. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2012 in Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Joe Evans officiating. Visitation with the family 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and Noon – 2:00 p.m. Thursday. Interment service will be in Middle TN State Veterans Cemetery 11:00 a.m. Friday.
