Born on June 28, 1968, in Macon, GA, Jimmy graduated from the University of Georgia in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Shortly after, he moved to Nashville, TN, where he was employed in music management until he founded Clarity Consulting, an IT company that reflected his passion and expertise in technology.
Jimmy was a talented musician and had a deep appreciation for music of all genres. He had a deep love of nature, particularly the beauty of coastal Georgia and Lake Sinclair.
Jimmy’s philosophy of acceptance and peaceful coexistence among mankind strongly resonated with those who knew him.
Above all else, Jimmy’s heart was deeply rooted in his commitment to raising two loving and compassionate children, and his role as a father was one of his proudest and most defining qualities
Jimmy is predeceased by his father, Donald Kay Miller and is survived by his wife, Sissy Kuhlke Gardner; son, Jackson Armstrong Miller; daughter, Anna Adair Miller; and his stepson, James Collie Gardner. He is also survived by his mother, Peggy Eaton Miller of Macon, GA, and his sisters, Donna Kay McGoldrick (Phil) of Macon and Dee Ann Geeslin of Savannah, GA; six nieces and nephews, and seven great-nieces and nephews, all of whom he cherished deeply.
A visitation for Jimmy will be held Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at West End United Methodist Church, 2200 West End Avenue, Nashville, TN 37203, followed by a Celebration of his Life at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private. Rev. Stacey Harwell-Dye will officiate. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to the Nashville Rescue Mission - www.nashvillerescuemission.org
