James M. Batcheldor Jr.

Preceded in death by wife of 67 years, Betty West Batcheldor,;parents, James M. Batcheldor Sr. and Maxie Oldham Batcheldor; granddaughter Melissa Freeman; sisters, Dorothy Crawford and Shirley Stilger.

Survived by children, Ann Freeman, Susan (Wayne) Story, and Jim Batcheldor; grandchildren, Mitch (Jenny) Freeman, Scott Freeman, Jeff (Amy) Story, Joshua (Lindsay) Story, Rebecca (Carlos) Camarena, Jake Batcheldor and Anna Marie Batcheldor; sister Margie Bollin.

Mr. Batcheldor was a retired permanent Deacon at St Stephens Catholic Community, Chaplin of the Knights of Columbus and he was a WW II veteran retiring from the U.S. Navy and Naval Reserves.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2015 beginning at 4 pm with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm at St. Stephens Catholic Community.

Mass of the resurrection will be conducted at 10:30 am on Friday, August 21, 2015 at St Stephens Catholic Community with Rev. Patrick Kibby, Celebrant.

Burial will be on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 1 pm EST in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bloomfield, KY.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude.
