A native of Columbus, GA, he spent most of his life and adulthood in Nashville, Brentwood and Franklin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Russell and Agnes Buchanan Clark and older brother, Thomas Russell Clark, Jr. and wife Helen.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carole; his two children Deanna (David) Dillon and Steve (Cathy) Clark; grandchildren, Olivia and Eli Dillon, Maria and Will (Mica) Clark. He is also survived by his younger brother Ted (Pat) Clark.
A Celebration of Life service will be at 2:00 pm on January 6th in Norman Chapel of Clearview Baptist Church, Franklin, TN with family visitation at 1:00 pm prior to the service.
A private burial service will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Nashville, TN.
