On March 6, the world lost a bit of its light in the passing of Jade Tristen Benning. The 25 year old resident of Nashville, TN was born March 6, 1998 in Little Rock, AR. A graduate of Little Rock Central High School (2016), Jade spent much of her early years involved in cheerleading. She was very athletic and started cheer at age 7 at Cheer City United. She would later become cheer captain at Horace Mann Middle School, then on to captain of JV and Varsity at Central.
She brought that same discipline and dedication to her passion for cooking – graduating in 2020 from Brightwater Culinary Arts. Jade spent her career in roles as Head Pastry Chef at Mirabellas Table and Chef at Earnest Bar & Hideaway, and her catering business, JTB Eatery.
To know Jade was to love Jade.
She had a smile that would light up the room, a laugh that was contagious, and a heart that loved everyone (well there were a few exceptions). In addition to her passion for cooking, she enjoyed taking time to travel as much as possible. She loved her tattoos, music, and a good Netflix series. But most of all, she loved spending time with the extensive group friends and family who got to share her warmth over the years.
Jade was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Susan Benning, and her paternal grandfather, Joe Browning.
Services will be held Saturday March 25, 2023, The Church at Rock Creek at 11 a.m.
