Jacqueline W. Ray

She was preceded in death by Husband Joe Ray, Parents Sadie and Bernice Wright, and Brothers James Hollis (Jim), and Davis C (D.C.) Wright.

Jackie is survived by Son Bryan Ray, Daughter in Law Erin Ray, and Grandsons Jack and Adam Ray. She is also survived by dear Sisters Martha McCabe (Fred – deceased). Jeanie Milliken (John) and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Great-Nieces, and Great- Nephews.

Jackie grew up on Belcourt Avenue in Nashville, TN and graduated from West High School in 1956. In the early 60’s, Jackie worked for the TN State Government and the Telephone Company.

Jackie’s true gift and calling was providing help and care to those in need and with health challenges – for her friends, parents, in-laws, aunts, uncles, and her husband. She loved her family and friends tremendously.

Jackie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, sports, antiques, and traveling with her husband.

Visitation was held from 4 pm to 7 pm on Wednesday, October 25th and on Thursday October 26th from 11 am – 12 pm with Service and Burial following at 12 pm at Mt. Olivet Funeral Home and Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons and nephews.
