Survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Mazelle Meador; daughter, Elisa (Wayne) Jenkins; sons, Larry, Danny (Kathy) and Mickey (Marlina) Meador; sister, Polly Withers; brother, Billy Meador; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Meador was a loving and Christian husband, father and friend. He never met a stranger. He was a long time member and deacon of Vultee Church of Christ.
A Celebration of his life will be held, at 2:30 pm, Thursday, January 9, in the Chapel of Eastland Funeral Home, with Carl McKelvy officiating. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held, 4:00-7:00 pm, Wednesday, January 8, at Eastland Funeral Home.
