She was born in Pulaski, TN on November 14, 1930 to Luther and Rebecca Clifton. Ima graduated from Giles County High School, where she was a varsity cheerleader and voted most humorous in her class. She was an amazing mom and cook, often feeding the neighborhood children her delicious creations. She loved her family more than anything and adored her grandchildren. A lover of chocolate, anything pink, Cadillacs and attending her high school reunions. Ima was a member of Crieve Hall Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald C. Willie Sr. and her beloved son, Donnie Willie Jr. Ima is survived by her three children, Sharon Waters, Pat (Kathy) Willie and Chris Willie; 5 grandchilren, Kimberly Willie, Katie Dellavecchia, Candice Williams, Victoria Clouse amd Stephi Willie; 3 great grandchildren, Brayden, Emma and Savannah.
Services for Mrs. Willie will be provided by Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. A gathering of friends will take place on Friday, December 13, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A celebration of life will be on Saturday, December 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with her service at 1:00 p.m. in Dignity Hall with Ministers Wavell Stewart and Bill Watkins officiating.
The family would like to especially thank and recognize Jenna and Richard Harper, Ima’s neighbors, for all of the love, compassion and kindness they have shown to their mom over the past few years. They would also like to recognize and thank Alive Hospice for their support and dedication to their mom.
