Hugh Forrest Keedy

KEEDY, Hugh Forrest – age 84, of College Grove, TN, passed away August 18, 2011. Born September 22, 1926 to Lester and Letha Keedy of Berkeley Springs, WV. Professor Emeritus of Vanderbilt University Engineering School; served thirty-eight years on the faculty. Mr. Keedy is survived by his loving wife of 62 Years, Marjorie Bomar Keedy; children, Susan Reese (Andrew), Bruce Keedy (Priscilla); grandchildren, Amelia Reese Masterson, Austin Reese, Evan Reese, Nicholas Reese, Daniel Keedy, Sarah Keedy Alvaro and Joel Keedy. Veteran of World War II. In recent years teacher and leader at College Grove Senior Center and curator of Bethesda Museum. Active member and former elder of Otter Creek Church of Christ. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from Five O'clock in the evening until 8 O'clock in the evening on Friday, August 19, 2011 at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Visitation will also be held Saturday from 11:30 a.m. -12-30 at Otter Creek Church of Christ. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests that contributions in Mr. Keedy’s honor be directed to Agape or Wayne Reed Childcare.
