Howard Andrew “Happy” Putnam, of Nashville, was born on March 16, 1930 to William and Maude Putnam. He passed from this life on November 13th at age 89. He is preceded in death by his wife, Hester (Nash), his parents and five siblings. He is survived by his daughter Michelle, sister Sally, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a loving, caring husband and loving, kind and gentle father. A long-time member of Crieve Hall Church of Christ, he loved greeting people and making them feel welcome. He was a trusted employee of Genesco, Washington Manufacturing and Tennessee Wholesale Drug Company. He loved his country and served in the Army during the Korean War although his duties kept him in Alabama, Georgia and Texas.
This gentle man with a huge smile will be greatly missed.
