Hilda Meadows Baker, 87, daughter, sister, wife, sister-in-law, aunt, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many, celebrated her eternal birthday Saturday, January 27, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hawkins and Mary Reynolds Meadows; her husband of 64 years, Arnold Baker; siblings, Geraldine Jackson, Raleigh Meadows, Eugene Meadows.
Born Saturday, March 8, 1930, she is survived by her daughter, Melissa Baker Finn; son, Andrew Thomas Baker; grandson, Jonathan Finn; great-grandson, Mason Finn; sisters, Marilyn Hall, Janice Lockwood, Liz Bennett; brothers, Glyn Meadows, Cordell Meadows and Hunter Meadows.
A celebration of life will be held 10:00 Wednesday, January 31, 2018 in the chapel of Eastland Funeral Home 904 Gallatin Road Nashville, Tennessee 37206. Burial will be in Moore's Cemetery in Dover, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Family and friends will gather to remember Mrs. Baker at a visitation, Monday, January 29, 2018 from 4:00 until 8:00 at Eastland Funeral Home.
