Helen Margaret Rutledge Neely

Helen Margaret (Rutledge) Neely went home to her Lord on Saturday, October 14th, 2017. Helen was married to the Love of her life, Leslie H. Neely, Sr. for 61 years until his passing in 2001. Helen is preceded in death by her parents, James & Emma Rutledge, her brothers, James Rutledge (Memphis), Clarence & John A. Rutledge both of Nashville. She is survived by her son, Leslie (Debbie) Neely, Jr., grandchildren Kevin (Lori) Neely, Kris (Jennifer) Neely, Allyson (Alec) Cort, Danielle Schroeder, Adam (Alyssa) Hudgins, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grand son. In additional sisters, Mary (Robert) VanHook of Manchester, and Dorothy Johnson of Lebanon with many close nieces and nephews. Also a close brother-n-law Ernest (Connie) Neely. Helen retired from the Federal Reserve Bank after many years of service. Visitation with family will be at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, Tuesday October 17th from 4:00-8:00pm and Wednesday October 18th from 10:00am-1:00pm with Funeral Service to begin at 1:00pm in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Dr. Alec Cort will officiate. Burial following at Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers Helen requested memorials to either Dalewood United Methodist Church or the American Heart Association.
