Helen Cenora Patterson age 91, departed this life on September 30, 2020. She was born on December 18, 1928 in Paris, Tennessee to the late William Gaylon and Phronia Hastings Hughes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. James T. Patterson; siblings, Don Hughes, Frances Rager and Jean Williams.
She is survived by her children, Brenda Patterson of Smyrna, Tennessee, Mike (Angela) Patterson of Maryville, Tennessee and Tamara (Paul) Anderson of Crossville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Noah Anderson of Crossville, Tennessee, Michael Patterson of Maryville, Tennessee, Seth Anderson of Atlanta, Georgia, Kyle Anderson of Atlanta, Georgia and Cory Anderson of Atlanta, Georgia; Sister, Polly (James) Cook of Dothan, Alabama and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at ten o’clock in the morning on Monday, October 5, 2020 in Dignity Hall of Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home with Bro. Carlos Saddler officiating. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from two until five in the evening on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
