Hazel was a faithful and dedicated member of Concord Road Church of Christ for 23 years. She was married to Warren Gaston Brown. She was an awesome cook who made sure everyone's favorite dish was available at family dinners. She enjoyed baking cakes and pies which were always for dessert at family dinners. Hazel loved gardening, loved sewing and making quilts.
Preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Warren Gaston Brown; two grandsons, Ken Ford, Jr and Phillip Ford; brother, Billy Franks and sister, Charlene Brown.
Hazel is survived by her daughters, Donna (Kenny) Ford and Judy (Rick) Boehm; grandchildren, Stacy (David), Trisha and Elliott; one granddaughter in law, Angela; great-grandchildren, Victoria, Bryce, Layla Adelynn, Harley, Kaiden, Brent and Blake; two sisters, Betty Underwood and Ginger Jackson.
A gathering of family and friends for Hazel will be held Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204, followed by a celebration of life from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM with Brother Dan Chambers officiating.
Pallbearers will be Blake Ford, Brent Ford, Bryce Boland, David Boland, Elliott Boehm, Harley Ford, Kaiden Ford and Ricky Underwood.
In lieu of flowers the Brown family have asked that donations be made to Concord Road Church of Christ or American Cancer Society in Memory of Hazel Dean Brown.
