Harold E. Paul Jr.

Born February 24, 1927 in Glens Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Harold E. Paul, Sr. and Lucy Stone Paul. After his graduation from Granville High School; he served in the U.S. Army during WW II. Following his discharge, Harold continued his education and graduated from Rider University with a BS in Business Administration. He had a successful career with Mercantile Stores, Inc. for forty years. Harold was a beloved and devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by his family. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane, daughters, Marcie Jameson (William A.) of Nashville; Kathryn Burdine (Lee B.) of Columbus, MS; grandsons William Alexander and Paul Jameson, and sister Shirlie Bourne and family of Cocoa, FL. The family would like to give heartfelt thanks to the Alive Hospice staff for their outstanding and loving care. A Military Burial Service will take place at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be considered for your church or favorite charity.
