H. Wayne Hay

Wayne was born on April 3, 1941 in Brentwood, TN, the third son of Carl G. Hay and Zella M. Hooper Hay. He married Mary Lynn Keller on April 27, 1971 in Maryville, TN.

Surviving is his wife of 49 years, Mary Lynn Hay; brothers, Charles, Dorris and Terry (wife, Lorri) all of Dickson, and Larry (wife, Diana) of Bon Aqua; sister, Donna Akey; daughters, Kimberley Hay of Lebanon, TN and Tina Hay of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Anthony, Christian, and Tobias; and his furbaby, Ginger.

Wayne is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Don (Butch) Hay; and sisters-in-law, Shirley Hay, Judy Hay, and Lou Hay; and the mother of daughters, Betty Cripps Hay.

After working for Goodyear for many years, Wayne retired from Tri-Star Energy (formerly Parman Oil) after 33 years of service. After his retirement, he spent his time in his woodworking shop (also known as his Pouting House), and enjoying doing whatever he could for his neighbors.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2020 from eleven o’clock until one o’clock at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will follow at one o’clock in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
