Guandoong Lul Riek

Guandoong had a soul that was unmatched. He was a self-motivated self-made, self-employed bag chaser who always set high goals for himself to achieve. He also aspired to reach higher financial goals. Guandoong succeeded in anything he set his mind to. He was a passionate individual and a visionary who held the world on his back. Guandoong was a true comedian with a unique and original sense of humor. He had a beautiful smile that could light up the world. Guandoong was a go-getter who enjoyed working and always being on the move. His energy was extremely contagious whether you knew him for a day or for years the impact and influence he left on anyone he met was astronomical. He could command a room without saying a word.

Guandoong had a lot of compassion for others he consistently showed love to anyone and everyone and was extremely generous in his possessions and time. He loved and cared for his family and especially enjoyed spoiling the younger members. He was resilient and ambitious he never let an obstacle, loss or defeat deter him, he learned from his mistakes and quickly adjusted.

Guandoong loved playing his x-box, he could beat anyone in COD, FIFA, or NBA 2K. He loved shopping and treating others to gifts and meals. He enjoyed coding and playing basketball. He also enjoyed the finer things in life: high-end fashion, all of the latest technologies, and had such an extent knowledge on luxury cars.

Guandoong was a gentleman, respectful, and blessed with the most beautiful soul. He was smart, warm and caring. He had great sensitivity for the world around him. He loved all his immediate and extended family members. Guandoong had a way with people that made them feel comfortable around him.

He displayed kindness and pulled generosity from everyone he touched. He was everyone's best friend, and more importantly a friend to his siblings. He could enter a room and brighten it with his striking smile, his attitude, or just his presence. He made friends so easily and was true to each and every one of them. He supported them where possible, guided them, and made them happy. He made his family happy as well. He warmed the hearts of people he came into contact with.

Guandoong was survived by his mother Marina, his father Lul, His sisters Hope, Faith, and Ruquia; his brothers Pout, Joseph, and Joshua; his grandmothers Yaya and Nyareat; his uncles Khan, Emmanuel, David and Shatim; cousins Malik, Taty, Mimi, Vivi, Riek, Nyadeen, Nyakouth, Amira, Jing, Abraham, Emmanuel, Dogak, including 11+ others; his grandmothers Yaya and Nyareat; his aunts Gloria, Ursilla, Elsa, Nyalok, and Nyahok.

Guandoong was preceded in death by his grandfathers Gang Chol Jok and Pout Riek Deng.

A gathering of family and friends for Guandoong will be held Friday, November 25, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park.
