A wonderful loving husband, father, and grandfather, "Pop" was born in Philadelphia, PA on the 4th of May 1944 to the late William C. Collier and Ruth H. Collier. George passed away on the 21st of December 2013 at 69 years of age.
Preceded in death by parents and sister, Ruth H. Lewandowski.
Survived by loving wife of 51 years, Diane M. Collier; children, Diane M. (Eric) Jensen, George A. Collier, Jr., Susan L. Collier and Deborah A. (David) Kirby; grandchildren, Jason Parra, Steven Jensen, Andrew Jensen, Lexus Kirby and D.J. Kirby; brother, William G. Collier.
George was an accomplished music business executive professional with 45+ years experience. He was a man who had a passion for life and was a great friend and mentor to many.
The family requests friends to gather with them for a time of visitation and remembrance on Friday evening, the 27th of December 2013 from four o'clock until eight o'clock. A memorial service will be held at Woodlawn's Dignity Hall at eleven-thirty in the morning on Saturday, the 28th of December 2013.
