Mr Beasley has been the best Transportation  Director   Metro Nashville Schools have ever had.  He treated  School Bus Drivers, Personal and all workers with Respect.  Hasn’t been  the same since his retirement.  Thank you Mr Beasley.

Carlisle was a very special person and I will always remember his loyalty and devotion to the School Transportation industry. I also enjoyed some laughs with him and Claudette along with some fun experiences. The Industry has lost a Great One. My thoughts and Prayers are with Claudette and the Family. Ted Clayton

Carlisle always lit up the room! I remember always seeing him at the Gatlinburg meetings when I went with my Dad and Mom (Ronnie and Connie Briggler). He always made you feel special and never forgot a face. One time I was in Nashville on a girls trip over a weekend and my debit card decided to stop working, so I couldn't get a hold of the bank. Carlisle came to the rescue to us girls to make sure we had a good time and had all that we needed. He was a special man and will be greatly missed.

It was an honor to known Carlisle.  What a great man.  He would come to New Mexico to teach at our summer institute.  He was liked by many.  He told us that it was the only time he taught three generations in the same class, my grandmother Minnie  (Aztec Schools), my mom Ann (Farmington Schools) and myself.  We were blessed to have known such a great man.

I knew Carlisle at West End High School where we graduated in 1954. I didn't have any contact with him until a few years ago when our class started having reunions and there were other functions like the lunch Bunch and the All Class Homecoming celebrations.  I can honestly say in his case it was appropriate to say "you haven't changed a bit." One thing we did laugh about that had changed was now the airlines insist on using our dormant first names,  like "Ezra" in his case, or "Walter" in mine.  He and Claudette both laughed because her boarding pass now reads "June." He was a good man and he will be missed by a lot of people. 

To Claudette, Lyle, June, Carli, spouses, and grandchildren—you know best the magnitude of Carlisle’s passing. As well, the impact on those of us within his circle of colleagues and friends is enormous; for me, it is a profound personal loss. 
     He was not an ordinary man, but uniquely the most unforgettable character I ever met—always cheerful, joking, positive, smiling, upbeat, and most of all, continually giving and serving. Indeed, he was a jolly good fellow that made the world a better place.
     I trust it is a measure of comfort for you to know that in my observation of over sixty-years, his words and deeds in the light and shadows always were honorable, wholesome, and respectful of God, family, country, and his profession.  The examples he set, the values he upheld, and the goodness he practiced surely will endure and multiply through those whose paths he crossed. 
I am convinced that there was no room in his perspective for embracing sadness in farewells but for a moment, so I rejoice that he is in a better place brightening the day for all in his presence. —John Ed Garrett



I meet Mr. Beasley at the lake in KY.  through Dave and Shirley,  My memories of Carlisle was one time we were visiting at the lake Dave and Shirley's air went out and Carlisle instead we stay at one of his places at the lake and another time last year my husband and I stayed in Tennessee at a hotel and I  left something there and Carlisle went out if his way to pickup  our item and bring to our friends at the lake for us. He was truly a  kind soul and always wanted to make people happy, we will miss him at our visits to.the lake.
