Eva Maxine Hines, 101, resided in Bakersfield, California for 54 years prior to making Nashville, Tennessee her home for the past 16 years, died peacefully with her family by her side at the home of her daughter Barbara Jean Patterson.
Maxine Hines was born July 22, 1920 in St. Paul, Kansas, to the late Orville and Audrey Amos. She married Harlan Cleaver Hines on December 18, 1936, and was married for 73 years. They were blessed with one child, Barbara Jean Patterson. As a pastor’s wife, Maxine was honored to serve the Lord our Savior her whole life alongside her husband at many Assembly of God churches in South Dakota, Kansas, and California.
