Hudson, Esther C.- Age 78 of Nashville, TN. August 19, 2013. Preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Aurelia Carlson, and her brother, Edwin Carlson. Survived by her husband of 54 years, Darrell Ray Hudson, Jr. and her daughters Susan (Marty) Mast, Janet (Jim) Worth, Barbara (Craig) Webb, and 14 grandchildren. Born Dec. 12, 1934 in Springdale, PA. Graduated Ashland College in Ashland, OH. Founding member of Priest Lake Christian Fellowship. She led home prayer meetings and served for many years as a volunteer with Child Evangelism Fellowship and International Friends. She had a life long passion for missions and sharing the love of Jesus Christ with children and internationals. She was an artist who loved to use paintings and sketches to share the gospel message. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, the 23rd of August, 2013 from four until eight o’clock in the evening at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at ten o’clock in the morning on Saturday, the 24th of August, in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with visitation held one hour prior to the service.
