Elizabeth “Ann” Mitchell, age 86, of Hermitage passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2020 in Hermitage. Ann was born in Waynesboro, TN. She was the daughter of the late Lee and Mattie Sharp Tatum. Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her husband Tex Mitchell; sons Curtis Mitchell Jr., Randy Mitchell, Jeff Mitchell and Eddy Mitchell. A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Mitchell will be at 10 am on the morning of Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Mount Olivet Funeral Home in Nashville. Ann worked as a social worker for the State of Tennessee. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 4-8 pm on the afternoon of Friday, July 10, 2020 at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. There will be a second visitation one hour prior to the start of the service. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Nashville Inner City Ministry P.O.
