Eileen Lapidus Sloan- Age 70, of Glasgow died July 13, 2016 at Barren County Health Care following a brief illness. She was owner of Bernard’s Department Store in Glasgow. She was a daughter of the late Emanuel Lapidus and Louise Nahm Lapidus. She is survived by one son; Steven Sloan and wife Lori; one grandson, Kolton Jessie, all of Glasgow; one granddaughter, Rachel Cohen and her father David Cohen of Nashville and one sister Connie Simmons of Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband Nathan Berky Sloan and daughter Amy Sloan Cohen. Graveside service will be held at the Jewish K.K.S.I Cemetery in Nashville, TN on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice.
