Mr. Gower was born in Nashville, TN, on August 28, 1931, the son of the late Lemuel Herschel Gower and Marie Hudson Gower. He retired from Purity Dairy after many years of service. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gower was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Rodgers Gower; a sister, Jennie Lou Wynne; and a brother, Lemuel Herschel Gower, Jr.
Survivors include a niece, Alison Gower; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Caron; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, September 29, 2017, at two o’clock, Trevecca Community Church.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Thursday from five o’clock until seven o’clock at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home and Friday from one o’clock until the service hour at the church.
