SPICER, Edward “Brownie”, age 92 of Hermitage, passed away August 20, 2010. Preceded in death by his wife, Annie M. Spicer. Survived by his daughter, Gloria Wilson; brother, Paul J. Spicer; grandchildren, Bill Wilson and Camille Fenwick; great grandchildren, Heather and Allen Wilson, Tyler and Colton Fenwick. Mr. Spicer was a member of Perry Heights Church Of Christ. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. “Brownie” was retired from CSX Railroad as an Engineer with over 40 years of service and was the former Engineer on the Broadway Dinner Train for 8 years. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 23, 2010 in Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Felker and Dan King officiating. Interment will follow at 11:30 a.m. in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as Active Pallbearers. Members of the Railroad Preservation Society will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
