Edna Earle Stephens

Mrs. Stephens was a 1949 graduate of Saint Cecilia Academy and parishioner of 58 years at St. Edwards Church, Nashville, TN.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Josephine Devine Bomar; sister, Mary Rita Bomar and in-laws, Frank and Catherine Bauerlein Stephens.

Mrs. Stephens leaves behind her husband of 60 years, John B. Stephens, Sr.; sons, John (Dawnne) Stephens Jr. of Hendersonville, TN, Rev. Tim Stephens S.J. of Baltimore, MD; and daughter, Rita (John) Boyd of Mt. Juliet, TN; grandchildren, J.T. (Gabrielle)Stephens of Torrance, CA, Kenneth Stephens of Nashville, TN, Katie Boyd of Nashville, TN and Christy Boyd of Mt. Juliet, TN; great-granddaughter, Natalie Marie Stephens of Torrance, CA; sister-in-law, Gretchen Stephens of West Lafayette, IN.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014 from 4-7pm with a 7pm Rosary at St. Edwards Church.

Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated by Rev. Tim Stephens S.J. and Msgr. Pat Garrity at 10 am on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at St. Edwards Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ladies of Charity Nashville or St. Edwards School Tuition Assistance Fund.
