Earl Dean Tucker, age, 78, passed away peacefully Friday, February 3, 2017 in Nashville, TN after battling cancer. Born April 3, 1938 in Birmingham, Alabama to Travis Tucker and Bernice Hall where his life-long love of the University of Alabama began. A proud resident of Nashville since 1952, Dean graduated from Litton High School and settled in Madison. Dean served 56 years with the Tennessee Department of Transportation. He was beloved by his close friends and known for his avid love of golf. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, and three siblings. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Mary Marie Reed-Tucker; sister Peggy Green; 3 nephews, Scott, Jerry, & Terry Green; sisters-in-law, Hope Jones & Holly Lands; 2 stepchildren, Michael and Ruta Smith. Visitation will begin at eleven o' clock in the morning on Wednesday, February 8 at Woodlawn Funeral Home with Funeral Service to begin at two-thirty in the afternoon. Burial will follow immediately at Woodlawn. Attending pallbearers: Mike Agee, Chris Christianson, David Donoho, Frank Neal, Michael Smith & Elon White.
