This is the Karas family. We tried reaching out to Don several time, not knowing he had passed away. We are so sorry to hear about the loss. What a great guy. He will be missed ❤️

Don was a dear childhood friend. I have many fond memories of Don and his brothers Jim and Ray during days in Worth, Illinios in 1960s and 70s. We played many pickup baseball games at the baseball fields at Wortwoods school area during summers back then.  'Got to reconnect with Don and Jim in 2019.  So sad to hear of Don's passing.

Don knew me slightly better than I know myself.  For that I am forever thankful. What a mighty good man he was .

I remember how much in Love we were when we got married in 1996.  I have so many memories of us.  We would go flying in our plane just to go eat dinner in Galveston, Tx.  We rode our motorcycles from Austin,Tx to Chicago to the upper part of Wisconsin and back.  What an adventure that was.  
In 1999 we we're given the opportunity to open a CD molding plant in Nashville Tennessee.  I remember looking at our first real home in my rear view mirror as we headed to Nashville and as tears fell down my face.  Don drove his truck with our dogs "Big guy" & "Pig Pen" and I had my African grey parrot "Wishbone" riding on my shoulder giving me kisses.  Every place we ate at on the way gave us fresh veggies for Wishbone at no charge, they thought it was so cool to see him on my shoulder.  We had a beautiful log home in MT.Juliet, Tn. 
I will never forget Don and his gracious family.  R.I.P.

Don was a dear friend.  We met in Nashville when I was playing in a band with his friend Corey. We talked after the gig and continued our friendship for more than a decade. I visited him at his home in Texas and he visited me when I played with another band in Texas.  He was so wise and had a deep, understanding of the mysteries of God. He wrote a testimony for my ministry which can be read by copying and pasting the link below. He took me flying in an airplane. What a wonderful man! He will be greatly missed.
