Donald E. Robertson

Donald E. Robertson of Nashville, TN, went home to be with his Lord on June 6, 2016. Born on September 15, 1942 to parents Frances Barnes and Smith Robertson. He is survived by his uncle, Paul Robertson (Elizabeth); cousins: Joyce Higgins Henderson, Terry Mason Higgins, Karen Lynn Higgins, Kenneth Hatcher Higgins, Wayne Barnes, Amelia Higgins Gentry, Bob Ray (Phyllis), Mary Ray, Robert E. Bain (Linda), Beverly Bain Moore, David Paul Robertson, Jr. (Angie), Trevis Lee Robertson (Dolores), Bonnie Beth Jenkins, Linda Fern (Terry ), and Martha Forrester; and friend, Bob Mueller (a friend who sticks closer than a brother). Don retired from the U. S. Postal Service and was a long-time resident at Green Harbor where he lived with many friends and associates. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. He loved living, especially family get-togethers. We have our tears when saying goodbye from this life; he has his joy in saying hello in the next life. Visitation to be held at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, from four to eight o’clock in the evening and again on Thursday, June 9, 2016, from noon to service time at one o’clock, also at Woodlawn.
