Donald J Evans, age 83, passed peacefully at home with his family by his side, February 11, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Robert and Ann Marie Evans, sons Donald Joseph Evans Jr and James C. D. Evans. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Judge Sue McKnight Evans, daughter Donna (Paul) Long , son John Daniel Evans, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A life-long resident of Nashville and graduate of Father of Father Ryan High School. A Mass of The Resurrection will be Celebrated 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at St. Edward Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Patrick Breen, Celebrant. Visitation will be held on Tuesday prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Father Ryan library.
