Dennis Earl Cornelius

Mr. Dennis Earl Cornelius died suddenly at his home on April 16th, 2017 in Bradenton FL at the age of 68. Dennis is survived by his wife Pamela Cornelius, of Bradenton, FL, his daughter Tiffany McCartney and son in law Jeff McCartney of Orlando, FL, and his granddaughter Tabatha Bowman and her fiance Billy Ponshe of Lewisburg, TN. He is preceded in death by his mother Ruth Cornelius, father John Abner Cornelius, brothers John, Richard, and Walter Cornelius, sister Juanita Cornelius, and son Michael Cornelius. Dennis was born on December 30th, 1948 in Canton, Ohio to Ruth and John Abner Cornelius. He married Pamela Majors, on December 26th, 1970. Dennis ran a successful lawn mower repair business called Denny’s Mower Repair Shop in Bellview, FL and Lewisburg, TN. He was a longtime member of Mooresville Baptist Church. Visitation is scheduled from 4pm to 8pm on April 27th, 2017 with a second showing from 10am to 11am on April 28th, 2017. A funeral is scheduled for 11am April 28th, 2017 burial following. Services are being held at Mount Olivet Funeral Home and Cemetery in Nashville, TN. Pastor Bob Rush will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Dennis’ life.
