Denise "Dede" Louise Batson, age 45, departed this life on July 4, 2020 in Nashville, Tennessee. She entered this life on October 10, 1974 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was a devoted wife, mother to her two children and her three fur babies. Dede was a very resourceful individual who had a knack for being artistic and creative. She was a lifelong fan of LSU Sports often invoking rivalry when ever possible.
She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Brad Batson of Nashville; sons, Aidian Batson and Ethan Batson; brother, John May; grandmother, Edith Scott, Aunts, Dianne Banik and Barbara McFarland.
A Memorial Service will be held at two o'clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Marshall-Donnelly-Combs Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior.
