Debra Kay Butcher of Thompson's Station, Tennessee passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020. Debra was born on July 1, 1952 in Nashville, Tennessee to parents Paul S. Tanksley and Cora Mai Lovell Tanksley. She was 67 years of age.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Cora Tanksley and by her brother-in-law, Wyatt Allen. She is survived by husband, Roy E. Butcher; two daughters, Carolyn Norman and husband Doug, Julie Butcher; one son, Roy Paul Butcher; one sister, Paula Sue Allen and four grandchildren, Nathan Reynolds, Samuel Reynolds, Baylor Norman and Hope Norman.
Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2020 from the Mount Olivet Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville, Tennessee. Visitation will begin Thursday, March 5th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to service on Friday. Serving as pallbearers will be Raymond Butcher, Jeff Butcher, Greg Butcher, Tim Allen, Eddie Allen and Gary Napolitan. Burial will follow at the Historic Mount Olivet Cemetery.
