Dave was not only a coworker and a mentor but he was a very good friend. I remember first meeting Dave and right off the bat he took me under his wing to share his vast array of knowledge and positivity. Dave taught me how to love people and see the best in the people even in their worse times. I remember the times him and I would sit together and he would always tell me about his dream to own his own house in America and the luxuries he wanted to grant his family. Dave was truly a light in this world. He will not be forgotten and his legacy will forever be left with me and everyone his has every graced

A very good Cuz, my dearest first cousin, your heart has stopped beating and a very good soul soared to heaven. We part with our beloved Dave Harvey in pain…RIP Cuz rest in peace, say hello to Mark for me, he along with the rest of the family welcome you and will show you around. Words cannot express how much you will be missed. The house could be really quiet sometimes except for the children's room. The adults, deep and buried in thoughts concerning surviving the day and doing life. Then out of nowhere, Dave bursts out in a series of infectious laughter and giggles concerning an issue or something that happened.  This gets everyone laughing and engaged with being present with the day.
What we have is "the day", to be present and to make the best out of it.
You will be truly missed my fellow Quackquack.



It was a blessing to see how happy the Harvey family was when they  moved into their new home in Florida. The joy I witnessed will forever stay in my heart.  They showed me how a family should protect and care for each other. My heart will always hold tight to the vision of your happiness and the gracious way you allowed me to help you prepare your house to be your home. GOD bless!

Dave my cousin, my brother, my hero you have departed and left me so sad thinking that this day would've never come, when I have to tell you goodbye. The journey, laughter and happiness we had will forever be a lasting memory. So sad knowing that the devil would step in and steal you away from me this soon. You are the brother I can never forget. You are a soul lifter, icon and the one with brilliant ideas. No words can express the hurt and sadness I am experiencing from the fact of you leaving me so sudden with no signal or warning of this wound that cannot be healed. I must let go as it is better for you to rest in the arms of the Lord where you are pain free and safe. I miss you so much until we meet again in heaven.

Dave! Dave! Dave! I knew you from a toddler and this is a very difficult pill to swallow that you have departed this life at such a young vibrant age when you are just ready for the world. 
You’re blessed with a beautiful family & you were very attentive & caring to them & you should be there to experience your kids going through every stage of their lives. You told me that they’re the ones you’re working hard for,  so they can be comfortable & have the luxurious life you never had as a child. I was there with you and your family last year this time & every time we talked, you told me you’re good. Your departure is very shocking & it’s just not real to me. I pray your soul is safe & secured in the Almighty God hands. 
RIP son,  brother, friend, boss.

The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green  pastures. He leads me beside  still waters.

  I wish this tribute would have come in our old age when all is said and done but the life of the one we love is never  lost. You will always  be remembered.  We got to the US the same time and when we met you made me realize  how much I miss reggae. You got me dancing  in  a long time!!!! Thank you for that special moment. I would want more and more but.......It is well.
Though we may not see you I know  you are watching  over us especially  Tilly . Thanks for the  joy and the strength that you brought into her life.

My brotha, RIP man. I know you wanted to beat this thing so that you can be there for your family but at the end of the day you only can fight so much. It was a pleasure knowing you brotha, you were always positive and try to find the good  in everything.

I met Dave about 15 years ago in Kingston Jamaica every time I would visit I would make sure to stop by his place and we would talk and just catch up , for years this was a routine we would follow until Dave made it to America , Dave was a man that lived by Respect ,Loyalty and a man with great principles. Dave was such a hard working Man and a brilliant guy if you ask me the great ideas he had inspired me to want to do more in life . Dave came to America with a plan and his head on straight and that’s one of the things I will always remember about him, In life we come across many different people and some you lose touch with but no matter how much time passed by Dave and I would pick up right where we left off like no time had passed at all.I pray that god grants his soul with peace , Rest in peace my friend, We know you are in a better place , a place where there is no pain and no suffering Watch over us all and one day we shall meet again.

Today as we the Gray families and friends celebrate the life of our beloved Dave Anthony Harvey one of our dearest nephew our condolences to the family, we're in pain as much as you are, we have to say gone too soon as we mourn the lost of our beloved nephew we remember the words of Jesus blessed are those that mourn for they shall be comforted Dave you're in a better place where there's no more pain and suffering, so rest in the arms of Jesus , the words of God in book of Solomon says a time to born and a time to die!!you have run the race of life and you have finish well, because you have left some amazing memories that will forever live in our hearts, to Dave Mom my sister stay strong God is your strength, and to Dave's family be strong in the Lord you all are in our prayers, we love you all, and the peace of God abide with you all as you lay out beloved Dave Anthony Harvey to rest!! My lover,soulmate,best friend you were all of that to me. You’ve left a gap that cannot be filled in this lifetime. This is not what we envisioned. We had big plans, a very long to do list. Places you wanted to take us. You worked so hard every single day to make our lives better, to give us a comfortable life. If you could helped everyone in this world, saved everyone in this world you would. You carried the burden of this world on your shoulders. I watched you worry about so much of the world’s problems and the suffering of people.  You lend a helping hand anytime you could to everyone who came your way. That must be why God took you from us this early. God must have decided you can accomplish your assignment even better as an Angel. 
 
You fought with every fiber of your being. Not many people knew how sick you were because you never showed weakness. You spoke with friends and family with a cheerful voice. In your pain you still had a positive word, positive energy every day.  You never questioned why you had to be the one to go through such an experience. I watched you get closer to God in those painful days, months and years. 
 
You were an Angel on earth. My special Angel, my special person. I am grateful for EVERYTHING. I am grateful we crossed paths. I am grateful you chose me and I chose you. You were PERFECT. The one chapter in our story I would change is the part where you got sick and had to leave us. We will raise the kids to be exceptional human who care about others just as much as you did.  
 
I miss you terribly. I don’t know how to bounce back from this blow but I do take comfort in the fighter you were. I take comfort in the strength you showed us all through the most difficult times. Thank you for never giving up even a day. 
 
Until I see you again in heaven. You are my Forever and Always.
