Daniel Patrick Fogarty Jr.

Daniel Patrick Fogarty, Jr., age 93, of Nashville TN passed away peacefully on December 3, 2018. He was the son of the late Daniel Patrick Fogarty, Sr. And Mary Louise Conroy Fogarty Davis. Dan was preceded in death by his wife, Copus Jean Watkins Fogarty, and brothers John H. Fogarty and Robert E. Fogarty. Dan was loved and reared by deceased grandparents Peter A. Conroy and Alice Forbes Conroy.

Mr. Fogarty is survived by his children Patti Fogarty, Toni Fogarty (Pam), Mark Fogarty (Cindy), and Alice Fogarty Mitchell (Bruce) and stepson John Watkins (Lova). He is survived by grandchildren Nicholas Daniel Davis, Angelia M. Fogarty, Jeffrey G. Watkins, and many nieces and nephews.

Dan attended Holy Name School and Father Ryan High School. In 1943, Dan joined the United States Marine Corps and served in WWII, the Pacific theatre, and later in Korea. Dan retired from the Newspaper Printing Corporation, now Gannett, in 1989 after 37 years of service.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 5 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Marshall-Donnelly- Combs Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. The Mass of the Resurrection will be on December 6 at 2:30 PM at St. Edward Catholic Church, preceded by visitation from 1:30 - 2:30 PM and followed by internment at Calvary Cemetery. St. Edward Church is located at 188 Thompson Lane, Nashville. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Edward School will be appreciated.

Pallbearers will be friends and family. Honorary pallbearers are the men and women of Hermitage Fitness Center.
