Born Sept. 10, 1922 in Lebanon, Tn, he was the son of the late Lillard and Kate Ingram.
He is predeceased by his wife of 72 years Jean Baxter Ingram, daughter Linda Kay Ingram, and brother Wade Ingram.
He is survived by his daughter Martha(Bruce)Jackson; son David(Trisha)
Ingram; four grandchildren, Ashley(Will) Day; Jan(Adam) Masterson; Clay(Amber) Jackson;
Steve(Lizzy) Ingram; five great grandchildren, Madelyn Day, Abigail Jackson, Emma Kate Day, Milo Ingram and Jude Ingram.
He graduated from Lebanon High School and Tennessee Tech with an accounting degree. He worked for 25 years for Genesco as an accountant. After retiring, he began his own Income Tax/ Accounting business. Along with the Income Tax business, he did the accounting work for Floyd & Baxter in Lebanon.
He was a member of Andrew Price Methodist for 69 years and was very active in the McDonough Fellowship Sunday School Class for many years. He was an avid gardener which brought him great joy. Until his later years, he always had a vegetable and flower garden.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday Sept. 18, 2021 at 1 pm at Andrew Price/The Connection United Methodist Church by Rev. Melisa Derseweh with burial at Wilson County Memorial Gardens in Lebanon. Family will receive friends from 12-1pm on Saturday at the church.
