Christen attended Brentwood High School. Received an Associate’s Degree from Volunteer State Community College in May of 2018. Was expected to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Middle Tennessee State University in August of 2020.
Christen loved her family fiercely and brought a lot of life and vitality to family reunions, gatherings, and special occasions. She enjoyed the outdoors and lived her life with zest. Christen loved to travel and there was a whole lot more of the world she wanted to see.
Christen is survived by her mother, Jennifer Bloomfield; father, Perry Brawner; step-father, Denis Bloomfield; brothers, Dr. Kyle Brawner (Cristin), Brian Bloomfield, and Max Bloomfield; sisters, Claire Bloomfield and Hallie Bloomfield; grandparents, Ramona and Richard Brodeur, Pat Evetts, Dr. William Moss, Martha Brawner, and Marvin and Penny Bloomfield. She was also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Christen was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Roger Brawner.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at 1 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Tennessee Voices for Children or Humane Society of Sumner County.
