Ms. Hollis was born in Rockwood, TN, on January 26, 1948, the daughter of the late Rev. Hobart B. Ford and Helen Miller Ford. She was a member of Judson Baptist Church and was a devout Christian. Ms. Hollis always put others first and loved working with children.
Survivors include a daughter, Christie Lee Hollis; two sisters, Nancy Ford and Amy (John) Coben; and a niece, Katie Coben.
A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at two o’clock in the afternoon at Judson Baptist Church with Dr. Ernest Standerfer officiating.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Wednesday from eleven o’clock until the funeral hour at Judson Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to Melanoma Research 1900 The Vanderbilt Clinic, Nashville, TN 37232-5536.
