DONNELLY, Charles Leo 84 Nashville, TN, passed away on Tuesday the 28th day of August 2012. He was born on the 4th of August, 1928. Loving husband, devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. Preceded in death by daughter Janice Donnelly Alexander ;mother Mathilda Gray Donnelly, father Dennis Joseph Donnelly; brothers John, Tom, Joe, Rob, Bill (Bo) and Frank Donnelly; sister Marie Thompson. Charles is survived by his wife Dorothy Powell Donnelly, daughter Lisa Donnelly Baltz, grandson Brian Moore (Staci), granddaughters Melanie Baltz Scott (Lee), Brooke Baltz Nicholson (Matt) great-grand children Reagan and Reilly Moore, Laney Scott, Charlie and Donnelly Nicholson; sisters Marguerite Sledge and Frances Henson. Charlie was the former owner of Marshall-Donnelly-Combs Funeral Home, 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Council #544, past President of Middle Tennessee Funeral Directors Association, a graduate of Father Ryan High School class of 1946 and Staff Sgt USAF during the Korean Conflict. Funeral Mass will be celebrated twelve o’clock noon Saturday the 1st of September, 2012 at The Cathedral of The Incarnation. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. Active pallbearers nephews. Honorary pallbearers past and present employees of Marshall-Donnelly-Combs Funeral Home, Tennessee Funeral Directors Association Members, Tennessee Funeral Supply Sales Club. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o’clock in the afternoon until nine o’clock Thursday, the 30th of August in the Fleming Center at The Cathedral of The Incarnation and from five o’clock in the afternoon until nine o’clock Friday, the 31st of August at Marshall-Donnelly-Combs Funeral Home with a Wake Service at eight o’clock.
