Catherine Sullivan Chandler Hartfield, age 92, of Boiling Springs, South Carolina passed away on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee on April 8th, 1931, to the late Ernest and Minnie Sullivan. She married Vernon Hartfield in South Carolina, he precedes her in death. Catherine had a passion for sewing.
She is preceded in death by her son, Kevin L. Chandler; husband, Vern Hartfield; parents, Minnie and Ernest Sullivan; two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her sister, Rita Story; five children; seventeen grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
A Gathering of Family and Friends for Catherine will be held Thursday, January 11th, 2024 from 12:00pm to 2:30pm at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204, followed by a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 2:30pm. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park following the Celebration of Life Service.
