Carol Sue Fuqua

Carol Sue Fuqua, age 78, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022. She was born July 21, 1944. She retired from the State of Tennessee working in billing and insurance. She was a lover of all things Elvis. She enjoyed tending to her plants and flowers around her home, her favorite was her rose bush. She loved her dog Rambo, chatting and catching up with friends on the phone, and going to yard sales and thrift stores.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Olva and Willie Pearl Green; siblings, Wanda Kerr, Leonard Lassiter, Estil Green, John Green and Lucy Colloca.

She is survived by her loving husband, Roger H. Fuqua Sr.; sons, Roger H. Fuqua Jr. and Michael W. Fuqua (Hope); grandchildren, Kayla Jones, Cory Fuqua, Michael Fuqua Jr. and Amber Fuqua; great-grandchildren, Lucas, Lawson, Link, Mac and Macy; and siblings, Shelby Lassiter, Andrew Green, and Neil Green.

A gathering of family and friends for Carol will be held Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A celebration of life will take place Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 2:00 pm. A committal service will follow in Woodlawn's Cross Mausoleum, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204.
