She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Howard Stewart and Nellie Louise Steward Stewart.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Duran and her fiancé, Al Martinez; grandson, Zaylin Martinez; sisters, Patsy Cook and Peggy Woodall; brother, Clifford Stewart, and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Brenda was a very loving person, a joy to be around, and the best mother you could ask for. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, and vegetable gardening. She had a true love for Harleys and log cabins. Brenda fought hard and was a trooper. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A Gathering Celebration of Brenda’s Life will be on Monday, July 2, 2018 at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home from 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
