Bobby Gene Vinson went home to be with the Lord on the evening of November 4, 2015. He was born in Enville, TN on February 6, 1942 to Clifford and Bernice (Bishop) Vinson. Preceded by parents, brother, Harold (Shirley) Vinson; son, Richard “Ricky” Gene; brother-in-law, Curt Wiseman. Survived by wife, Janice S. Vinson; children, Sheila Earhart, Tina (Jay) Turley, Waylon (Michelle) Vinson; step-children, Anna (Billy) Rodgers, Joy (Bill) Edwards, Annette (Jeff) Woodward, Carl Turner, John Turner and Chris (Elizabeth) Turner; sixteen grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Paulette Wiseman, and Mary Jo (Larry) Higgins. Bobby served his country in the US Army, a Vietnam Veteran and was a member of the American Legion, and retired from trucking in 2004. Military graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at two o’clock in Middle Tennessee State Veteran’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Bobby requested contributions may be given to any Veteran Organization of choice.
